- Department of Physics is selected under DBT STAR College Scheme for three years from Academic Year 2020-21. Under this scheme department received 10 Lakhs non-consumable and 03 Lakh per year consumable grants.
- Department has started Astronomy and Astrophysics as special course for the UG and PG students.
- Specially introduced course for the NET/SET examinations.
- Formation of BOS in Physics under Autonomous College.
- Revised syllabus for F.Y.B.Sc and S.Y.B.Sc. for UG courses and M.Sc. I and M.Sc. II for PG courses under Autonomous College.
